'The informed choice'

It is a priority of our school to offer a quality curriculum program to all students.

Students in years 7-10 study the Australian curriculum for English, maths, science, history and geography. As new Australian curriculum are released our school will adopt these.

All other subjects and year levels follow the accredited Queensland programs to ensure that our students receive that same quality education as other students throughout our state.

Our senior curriculum offers a wide variety of academic and vocational study options including TAFE programs that are embedded into our timetable.

Students are supported to select and appropriate study program through our Senior education and training (SET) planning process. All students and their parents meet with a school representative individually at the end of year 10 to discuss the students’ career aspirations and develop a learning plan to match this pathway.

We are very proud of the authentic partnerships that we have developed with our community businesses which enables our students to access many learning activities outside the school through school excursions, work experience and curriculum activities.
